Master composer/arranger Shawn Kirchner headlines our fall concert as guest artist, accompanying his compositions at piano, and premiering a commissioned work for our 60th Anniversary. “Everything he touches is musical gold,” enthuses Grant Gershon, artistic director of the Los Angeles Master Chorale, for whom Kirchner served as composer-in-residence from 2012-2015. Join us for a concert of his jazz, bluegrass, gospel, and folk-infused music, as well as gems of American music by Dello Joio, Lauridsen and LaBarr that are sure to stir the heart.
